Come and see this important film on Sunday 21st October at 10.45 am at St.Mark's Church, Station Road, Wootton.

Calais Children is a film by Sue Clayton about the scandal of what happened to the almost 2000 lone children who were living in the Calais Jungle, although many had a strong legal case to live in the UK. Professor Sue Clayton has been actively campaigning for two years and her film has formed the basis of the successful legal challenge which confirmed on 3rd October 2018 that children from the Calais Camp do have the right to live safely in the UK and our government is responsible for their care.
This film will be challenging to watch but this recent legal success must inspire us to keep speaking out for these vulnerable children and for the Human Rights of all refugees. Sue Clayton will be coming to the showing of the film and will be available to answer questions.
