Important Notice re. Loose Headstones

There are four headstones in St Edmund’s graveyard which have become very loose, and three of them have
had to be laid flat for safety reasons. The headstones affected could all be secured back in place relatively
simply, and relate to the following people:

MAY McGILL (Died 1980)
HELEN FISHWICK (Died 1983)
PETER PROCTOR (Died 1985)
WILFRED BIRKBECK (Died 1986)

If you are a relative or descendant of one of the above-named would you please let the churchwardens know
what you intend to have done. They may be contacted by email at churchwarden@cofeparishofwoottonbridge.org.uk.

Please be aware that if no action is taken the Parochial Church Council will be obliged to have the
headstones laid down, with the inscription underneath to avoid weathering. Thank you.
